José Paulo Santos Born in Coimbra in 1979 and living in Vila Real. Graduated in Communication Sciences from UTAD, he worked as a journalist for TVI, SA between March 2001 and March 2014.

Since 2013 he has been dedicated to independent cinema and has made 3 films that have been selected for more than 25 international film festivals. Punctually he has made preselection and has been a jury of some international film festivals.

He is currently a lecturer and fellow at the University of Trás os Montes and Alto Douro where he teaches at the School of Human and Social Sciences.
